The Church of Notm Ormon (also known as The Ormons) was founded on the principal that there just aren’t enough religions out there already. And there’s nothing like taking an existing belief system, slapping on some new rules and calling it our own. It provides us the potential for significant tax benefits, as well as the ability to claim moral high ground.
The Church of Notm Ormon was founded by someguy who had a vision in which the Lord appeared to him in a pillar of light, and instructed him to build this web site. “Someguy,” the Lord said, “You have been chosen, above all, to baptize people by proxy, regardless of their wishes or the faith they chose to follow, into the one true religion, Notm Ormon”. He continued on and on, but this was the only part that someguy could remember. So, guided by the divine word of God, someguy launched the Church of Notm Ormon, like, last week.
Thus far, the Ormon growth rate has been astronomical, and it remains the fastest growing false religion. This is mostly due to our policy of Baptism by Proxy, which means that you don’t need to be present, or even alive for us to Baptise you. Lucky you.
